Viz at Holland

Unimpressive entrance. Huge noise coming from the 8 lane road in front. Condo looked pretty run down and uncared for one relatively new. HDB next door is a turn-off.

On the positive side, saw lots of buses stopping right in front. Nice pools, tennis court and after all it is near Holland Village. I recommend this building for: City Living.

Its got the best of everything. Live here for 2 years now. Wouldnt trade it for the world. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Peace & Quiet, Luxury & Prestige and Western Expats.

Regretfully, my company is posting me to Malaysia to work. I'm reluctantly leaving Viz after staying for a year, and I'll miss the wonderful lifestyle here: peaceful environment (reminds me of my beloved hometown), complete range of condo facilities, a stone's throw away from Holland Village, Orchard Road (I heard even more shopping malls are coming up!), MRT station etc etc...

My 2-room unit was spacious, and I even had a king-sized bed all to myself! When my family came to visit me last year, I could comfortably house them all in. My kids are gonna be so utterly disappointed that they won't be able to come back here again...

Bye, Viz! If I'm ever going to be posted back to Singapore again, I'll definitely stay here again!! :-) I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet, Luxury & Prestige, Western Expats and Asian Expats.

At the carpark, the agent says to meet.
She arrives and "hello" we greet.
Into the elevator we go, she rattling off like a pro
about the virtues of this boutique condo untold
and its great location by those who know.

Into the apartment we both enter,
still continuing with her sale pitch and banter.
"Hmm, I like the bright and airy feel," I said,
"the view from those windows a postcard makes".
The open-concept kitchen looks swell
but think about the cooking smells!

Into the master room along we prance,
the well appointed bathroom seems the trend.
The good-sized bathtub is a nice touch,
a jacuzzi in it seems too much :)
The closet space seems ample
but the location of it could hamper
My dressing up in a hurry
in the mornings when my eyes are blurry.
The guest room I can't seem to fault
It's a reasonably good size, I thought.

From the living room window my eyes caught a glance
of the Olympic-length lap pool inviting a plunge.
Just the exercise I need to stay fit
Oh ... what a healthy life-style indeed!

Up the stairs my eyes behold
A children's pool unfold ...
Great BBQ pits along the side
Can't wait my friends to invite -
oh, what a night, the stars in sight ...
salads, grilled meats and wine to imbibe.

When guilt overtakes the calorie overload
there's the gym to hit the treadmill remote.
If working out in the gym is not it
there's always tennis to keep fit.

Such lovely amenites there are,
Lovelier gardens around the spa.
