The Waterside

This is a nice condo with full facilities. Nice relaxed ambience about it but the common amenities appear to require some upgrading. Some units are nice but the ducted aircons are a problem to watchout - I have been told by residents staying there. Also to watch out are units facing ECP, they are noisy throughout the day, but a similar problem exist for condos along meyer road facing ECP. The plot ratio of 2.1 is lower than 2.8 of all nearby plots because it is in the direct flight path of military jets landing at paya lebar airbase. At current pricing, it appears steep especially given that plot ratio has been fully utilised and en-bloc may not be likely without an increase in plot ratio which in turn is unlikely given the flight path issue. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities and Families with Children.

The Waterside would be a great place to stay. The land is freehold. Each apartment block is located at considerable distance from one another which improves privacy. The estate is like a modern park and includes a olympic swimmimg pool, which you will hardly be able to find in new condos these days. There is always ample sheltered car park for residents - never car park full. The Waterside is located very near to the city / chinatown and being along the ECP, makes travel to many places very convienient I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet, Luxury & Prestige, Western Expats and Asian Expats.
