We bought a unit here after looking at other projects in different areas. While Cascadia's psf is cheap, it is value for money. It is near to the future mrt, has convenient buses and near to supermarkets. Location in a good residential area and near to top schools makes this project a reasonable buy at this price. Especially when other new projects are launching at sky high prices regardless of their location.
I recommend this building for:
Outdoors & Activities,
Families with Children,
Peace & Quiet and
Students.

this condo is being playrd by agents and developers for its high prices demanded.its agents always give false information about how well it is selling and only a few units is left thus pushing the buyer to commit.it also play the price of rising steadily in order to give a false lead.there is lots of mosquito..centepede n insects crawling around.the unit is small and the price is definately not worth it..at 1450 psf..it is a crazy price.noone can make any money out of this investment at all..it is a over crowded condo with 500 over units which is a couple thousands of residents there. it makes no sense.
I recommend this building for:
City Living.

The Cascadia is a 536-unit ten storey project located along Bukit Timah Road. Though of late you see a lot of new development here but the PSF pricing of The Cascadia is among the most competitive. The neighbourhood has a lot to offer. Tree lined street, restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, good schools and open space (along Blackmore Drive) are all a short stroll away. Well landscaped good glass bungalows can also be found in this upscale neighbourhood.
As the development is located along major roads, getting in and out of the neighbourhood may take some time during peak traffic hours since there are only a few roads that can bring you out of the area. Depending on the stacks, those located nearer to the roads will have more road noise.
The Cascadia may not have fanciful facades that you see in some of the new development but its simple line and solid design do command a presence in the neighbourhood. The location, good schools, and amenities are surely its biggest selling points. Amenities including a 50m pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, club room, tennis courts, badminton court, BBQ pits, playground and even a jogging track. In summary, this is a development that absolutely has a lot going for it I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet and Luxury & Prestige.

Inside the development, it comes with full facilities, including 2 tennis courts, elderly and adult fitness area and several pavilions for rest and relaxation. What's unique about Cascadia are the extensive water features and greenery that surround the entire landscape, giving it a resort-like ambience.
The interior of the unit is of regular layout which makes it easy to fit in furniture without wastage of space.
It definitely is designed for families and execs looking for resort living and convenience of travel, at the same time. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet, Luxury & Prestige, Students, Western Expats and Asian Expats.

General overview.
- close to good shools - MGS
- overcrowded feeling in the condo.
- some lower unit too close to the pool. If you sit at the pool you can see into your living room. Balcony not usable. Most are too narrow.
General finishing
Main hall finish with tiles. Room wood finishing. Master bedroom wardrobe glass panel wall. Not very practical. See to be bad design, in trying to find a quick fix to put give appearance of large MB wardrobe.
Kitchen
-good quality appliances but to few. No washingin machine and dishwaster intergated or though of in the design of kitchen.
- ventilation shaft has no outlet, air circulates into the living room due to open kitchen concept. Will leave living room with smell of cooking after you're done.
Hot water heating (electrical)
- another cost saving measure, should have gone for gas heating. Long term electrical heating tank not reliable and consume lots of electric. Tanks are hidden and not visible and therefore not easily serviceable. I recommend this building for: Students.
