IR, Centrio & Marque
Posted by The Foreigner on Feb 22, 2012
some mths back, I was looking around Irrawaddy Road looking for a 2+1 or 2 rooms rental, I hv viewed all three IR, Centrio and Marque.
IR living area is really small with Bomb shelter, balcony is waste of space, afternoon and morning sun. Marque layout is really odd, not practical, and balcony is outside master room, afternoon and morning sun. Centrio is where I rented, no bomb shelter and is 2+1, high ceiling of 3.3 m, layout is much better than all, no afternoon or morning sun. I am happy to made this choice. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Students and Western Expats.

IR is Better
Posted by Thaddeus on Dec 25, 2011
What's the point of having a balcony that is hardly functional ? That is the main difference between IR and Domus - the large balcony of IR beats Domus hands-down. The 'planter' surrounding the Domus 3BR is a waste of space. And the living room balcony is cut up into 2 smaller ones - what for ? IR is about quality. IR over Domus for sure.
I recommend this building for:
City Living,
Families with Children,
Peace & Quiet,
Luxury & Prestige,
Western Expats and
Asian Expats.

Trying to look for a unit around Irrawaddy area, so narrowed down and compared with iR and Domus beside it. The only problem with IR is that the development looks too small and cramp. The unit layout is also very small and why would anyone need such a big balcony in IR? But IR has certainly better finishing compared to Domus, but then again, this is no big deal as you can always change your fittings yourself. Generally, finds Domus much better than IR with smaller balcony. I also realize Domus has better future valuation on the property which is why Domus is slightly more expensive... But end of the day is each to its own. This is just my own opinion.
I recommend this building for:
City Living,
Western Expats and
Asian Expats.

so so.......
Posted by Andrew Tay Eng Kee on Aug 20, 2011
saw this IR today.
so many people, not sure they come to view for rent or buy thou.
saw the 2 rm as well as 3 rm unit.
let's start with 2 rm unit. living room is really small.....and the master-room, dun think u can even fit a king size bed. rental is on the high side too.
3 rm unit a little bit better. living area is definitely bigger but master room is almost the same size as 2 rm unit.
having said that.....each unit have their own unique layout.....some come with big balcony while some smaller. I recommend this building for: City Living and Families with Children.

Excellent cosmopolitan location yet serene
Posted by EW on May 25, 2011
The development is 2 MRT stops from Orchard Rd and 10 min to the city area. Great good lined the Balestier Rd area with concentrated shopping facilities located at Novena area which is 7 minutes walk away. The condo is located in a quiet and serene part of the Novena area and is ideal for expats. Small families will find good schools located near to the condo with good connections to the transportation network. Facilities at the condo makes this place an ideal location to stay in without breaking your wallet :)

Western Expats and
