I had just moved into this condo. I bought because of the design. The space is very adequate and the facilities are well maintained. Definitely worth the money spent.
I recommend this building for:
Families with Children,
Peace & Quiet and
Asian Expats.

lousily thin walls

this project has very thin walls and can hear neighbours upstairs and beside talking. walking sound of neighbours upstairs very audible even if it is light walking. hillview regency also far from mrt and west mall, a bit neither here nor there in my opinion.

Fully agreed that this is a beautiful, quiet and convenience condo. The only fly in the ointment :
1) There is no basement car park and the car park lots are insufficient. If our vehicle park at the unsheltered (open-air) car park, it always ended with a lot of bird shits and leaves all over the car, and it really makes my husband frustrated.
2) There is no function room (with aircon).
Also like to highlight that the car park is not well lit; the lighting is very dim. As for safety of the residents and to prevent any accident from happening, the lighting in the car park should be improved by installing more white light.
Hope the management will look into the above matters and look forward to an improved living environment at Hillview Regency. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet and Luxury & Prestige.

Luxurious, Quiet Condo

Nice, quiet condo with ample facilities - big swimming pools, greenery, well maintained condo.
Condo is 5 years old and has been recently re-painted like a brand new condo!
Love the place. I recommend this building for: Families with Children, Peace & Quiet and Luxury & Prestige.

Agree with Jason and no more smell at all.

This condo is excellent. I cannot find a better condo than this in the hillview area. The management is excellent and the upkeep of the place is superb. It is worth $1000 psf.

This Condo is located in a quiet and serene part of Singapore. While most people prefer having a condo next to MRT, this development is uniquely located 3 - 5 bus stations away from Bukit Gombak MRT, Bukit Batok MRT and the upcoming Upper Bukit Timah MRT line. Residents have the best of both worlds; convenience to various MRT stations without having to bear with train track noises.
I recommend this Condo as a Value Plus development because of its close proximity to town without paying D10 prices. The Condo Management also exercise duty of care and I believe residents concern will be review if fed through appropriate feedback channel. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet, Luxury & Prestige, Western Expats and Asian Expats.

There are still about 5 unsold new units with gorgeous views. The prices are higher than preowned units though but I guess if one has the spare cash, it is better to get something new. I hear the developer will provide the usual limited defect warranty and do touch up of your house (polishing marble, painting, etc.)

Good location but poor management

I agree with Mrs Lee.. The entrance to each tower has got weird smell and sight of pest is rather common. However i must say that the location & transport link is good where walking to the central / interchange takes you only aroyund 10min.
I recommend this building for:

an unpleasant stay

My family & I finally decided to say goodbye to this condo after 4 years. The main reason we moved out is that this condo has more negatives than positives.
The positive things about this condo are : nearby HDB shops & food centre, Bkt Batok nature reserve, near schools & the condo comes with full-height glass windows which make the interior very bright.
The negative things about this condo are : it is next to a warehouse which spoils its facade; inconvenience as the condo is 3 bus-stops away from Bkt Batok MRT & West Mall (free shuttle bus ended in Nov 2009); the entrance to each tower block is very smelly as the rubbish chutes are situated near the entrance & lift lobby (I can even smell it from inside my apt); cockroaches are a common sight around the entrance area & inside my apt.
It was difficult to live in such an environment. We are glad we moved. I recommend this building for:
