not as grandiose

viewed the place, units rather cramped and land area small...also quite trying to walk to either MRT

G8 great place to stay

I've stayed at Grandeur8 for 4.5 years and to be honest I still like the environment very much. The facilities within the condo is top quality and very family oirented. Not to mention this is located in AMK Central though you don't pay Orchard Rd price for it (like Centro). And conveniently linked through mrt and road system. I really missed moving out in Aug 2010 but I still come back every now and then to visit my parents so I still continue to feel the excitement of staying there.
I recommend this building for:
City Living,
Outdoors & Activities,
Families with Children,
Western Expats and
Asian Expats.

home sweet home

Have just purchased an unit in G8 and indeed looking forward to move in soon. Nothing compare to the vibrancy amostphere and convenient location with lots of amenities close by. A place to relax ,have fun with family or enjoy the full facilities there. Price still reasonable compare to Centro at Amk hub calling $1300 now.. i can also rent if i decided not to stay as the rental yield is good too..
I recommend this building for:
City Living,
Outdoors & Activities,
Families with Children,
Luxury & Prestige,
Western Expats and
Asian Expats.

G8 vs Nuovo

G8 is closer to YCK MRT than AMK MRT if you exit by the back gate from the rear blocks, Blk 16, 18 etc. G8 is approx 580m from YCK MRT.
Also G8 is super near AMK central like 3 min walk to the first shops and 5-7 min brisk walk to AMK hub.
G8 is also a condo while Nuovo is an EC so Nuvo is not 100% private property.
I have been staying at G8 for over a year now and was considering Nuovo at one time as well. G8 is far more convenient since I don't drive.
Additionally, the fittings and finishing at Nuovo did not look as good to me as the G8 units.

Geat Place To Call Home! Fabulous Location!

Grandeur 8 is about 6 minutes walk to the Ang Mo Kio MRT Station. It provides full condo facilities. Great amenities nearby e.g. Library, Ang Mo Kio Hub, market, polyclinic and shops. There are a mixture of Koreans, Westerners, expatriates and locals staying in the condo. You will always find lots of small children playing near the pool area. The environment is really great for families with kids, where the young ones will definitely love the slides and jacuzzi. The multi purpose court is great for kids to chill, play basketball and badminton. There are several barbacue pits available. There are also many water features around the estate, which I heard was great for FengShui ( it had won an award for the design some time back ). Definitley a great family home!
