Downtown line at door step

Not many people pay attention to these 21 condos along this EXCLUSIVE BELT of Hillview Ave, with 3 more condos coming up in 2015/2016 (Hillier, Lanai,and Natura@Hillview). All these, especially the FH properties are likely to exceed $1700psf with the completion of Downtown line 2 and building of international school in this transformation. It's already popular with the expatriates. Good investment and good place to stay. It's a great time to buy, I say.

Some 10 floor units come with high ceiling. Please note that it is also counted in the gross area. thus the unit physical area is not what is reflected on as advertised. some seller agents will scam you on this.

Too highly priced

Saw and been there. No doubt the landscaping is nice, but the shape of unit is a little odd, and view is obstructed. What's more, the new Hillier project is going to create construction noise and dust. Just like the NS highway affect the value of nearby flats, the jam and construction will pull the value down for the next 3 years.
On the whole, feel the present asking prices of Glendale units are too high. Will drop. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children and Western Expats.

Nice landscape design

Overall: Glendale Park has a pretty nice landscaping with a resort feel, especially the luxurious pool as the main attraction. There's a reasonably big and functional gym. Facilities are good.
Some other observations:-
1) Exterior: The current painted colours of Glendale Park are not well coordinated, makes the whole condo a little dull and gloomy looking, especially with vines and crawlers - the look is a little dated.
2) Interior: All the houses are angled hence you won't get nice and squarish layout. There can be some wastage of space.
3) Navigation in the car park and lobby area can be a little confusing for visitors.
4) It will be one of the nearest condos nearest to the future Hillview MRT.
5) A little noisy at the pool especially over weekends. Not ideal if you're looking for a peaceful place. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Western Expats and Asian Expats.

Great Potential

The infinity pool has really captivate my heart! The condo layout is nice and cosy, particularly for those with bigger unit.
It has great facilities, with 3 tennis court , multi-purpose hall (with game and karaoke room).
What more - It has shuttle bus regularly that takes you to the door step of WEST mall (and Bukit Batok MRT).
With the upcoming Hillview MRT in 2015, we'll have MRT just at our own door step in future!
It's one of those condo that's almost love at first sight.
Looking forward to the furniture upgrade at the MPH! I recommend this building for: City Living, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet, Students, Western Expats and Asian Expats.

Odd Layout

Most of the units layout are odd. Saw 2 different units with balcony, too big which is wasted.

Quiet corner of Hillview

Glendale Park is tucked in a quiet corner of Hillview. Train noise is only a problem if your unit is facing the railway tracks and you like to keep the windows open. Traffic is very light along Hillview Link, and is only heavy on Hillview Road during peak hours. There is much greenery on the North, West, and East surrounding the condo.
The usual jams exist during rush hour around the Beauty World area. The BKE is easily reachable via Dairy Farm Road.
Many amenities are accessible even for those without a car. The Rail Mall is 5-10 minutes walk away; West Mall can be reached by a 5-10 minute free condo shuttle bus ride that runs at 30 - 60 minute intervals until 8pm each day; and Bukit Panjang Plaza is a very convenient 5 minute bus ride away (choice of 3 buses!) with the bus stop being literally just outside the condo side gate.
The facilities are excellent and very well maintained; the car park is huge with ample parking lots; and the monthly maintenance fees are quite reasonable at $234.33 for a two-bedroom unit.
With Hillview MRT coming up in 2015 literally two minutes walk away, accessibility will only be increased and the neighbourhood may see a transformation. I recommend this building for: Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet, Western Expats and Asian Expats.

I life in Glendake Park and it is not really quite! Every 1-2 hours pass by the train direct at the condo. The train permament honk the horn and if you have the windows open in the night then you need a good sleep otherwise you wake up a few times. When the window is closed then its okay, but still not a really quite place. The facilities of the condo is great, specially the pool, large and nice. The condo is good if you have a car!

Quiet Place to live in. Future MRT at doorstep. Conv. to express way.Free Shuttle bus to BB MRT. Great for those wif or w/o cars.
