Ballota Park Condo

Being on this condo and would say it still look ok based on interior and overall upkeeping. The biggest drawback is the location when there is no proper eating place within walking distance. If you want to buy something for lunch or dinner, without car or bus is out of question. Not advisable for family with old folks that don't drive. Looking at many of the units on sale at un-realistic price, would think the unit price psf for bigger unit should be S$600 and smaller unit not more than S$700.
I recommend this building for:
Peace & Quiet.

Good Location

When i heared about Ballota Park for the first time by reading the review i was not keen to even made my first view for it. However i was surprised to know that Ballota stood ata a startegic location. Not only it is 3 minutes away from Changi International Airport its close proximity to TPE,PIE and ECP made travelling within the island easier and faster. A friend of mine who took transit flight to Australia have also found that Ballota situated at a very close proximity and had make a transit stay at friends place in Ballota. I discovered that the estate was not like what was been describe in the reviews.Yes they are birds cage in one of the house but it hasnt make Ballota a horrible and smelly place.Infact i learned that the estate is well maintained and fumigation were made at weekly basis. As i walked in the Ballota Park i was ashamed to believe that Ballota was a horrible estate at first,but my negative notion change to amzement when i saw most units in the ground floor were well maintained with beautiful gardens in it. I saw not only the landscape and maintainance made by the management was good but the residence positive attitude maintaining their own area was good as well.Being near to the Singapore 4th university i definitely saw this area promised a good pottential future.Though it is near the Prison and temple , once inside it,you will feel more of living in countryside.Though its location is near to the airport , sounds of plane is at its minimal.Hard to believe right? But walk in , u feel the place is peaceful and tranquil.It really lives up the Ballota Park slogan"Luxurious countryside living".
I recommend this building for:
Outdoors & Activities,
Families with Children,
Peace & Quiet,
Students,
Western Expats and
Asian Expats.

Terrible location

went for a viewing recently and found the condo's location is the worst for all the condos in that area. It is situated just directly opp the Changi Prison and a huge chinese temple.
The changing room by the pool is extremely small which is a downside but thier clubhse has something the rest of the condos there dont have --- a pool table & soccer table. I recommend this building for: Families with Children, Peace & Quiet, Students and Western Expats.

Worst Condo I ever seen

Drop by to viewing to have a durain drop price for this condo.
At last even the price is cheap for this project freehold also no buying power. This project look very very very out of standard as a condo worst then those going for enbloc. Saw unit at ground for with many birds cage look really bad and smelly. To me this project is already poor man condo .... There no chance for enbloc or resales value. Those want to buy must consider consiider consider again. NOT RECOMMENDED I recommend this building for:

Next to changi Prison?

Went to se this devlopment, and noticed that it is very far and next to Changi Prison - in fact quite alot of condo very near the prison.
Very inconvenient for sch, amenties etc etc
will not have any good development in this area. So potential buyers who intend to buy here must consider and consider and price must be lower since there is not much "carrot" I recommend this building for:

Friendly Residence

Was pleasantly surprised to be invited by an elderly indian couple to visit them at their residence.. They were extremely friendly and that gave us a very good impression of the condo. Its like a kampong with friendly neighbours..The condo facilities are well maintained despite it been a 10 year sold condo. The rooms of the apt we visited were also big.. The landscape around the condo was nice.. The colour of the building could be a wee bit more cheerful... The downside of this place is that it is near a temple and Prison. But it is not really that bad as it is not facing the temple.. Not many amenities around, so you would have to do your weekly shopping in advance.. I like the nice and quiet ambience.. Its like a holiday getaway.
I recommend this building for:
Peace & Quiet and
Western Expats.
