My husband will be posted to Singapore sometime in March 2009. Colleages in Singapore suggest its much sensible to purchase rather than lease. What are the requisitions required for foreigners to purchase a 2 or 3 bedrooms property and to seek a bank loan should we decide to take one? What are the suitable property near the office in Tuas and not too far from town? Adviced that Freehold and 999 Tenure are more investment worthy, but we wouldn't mind 99 if it has good future investments returns. Thank you.

Hi, I represent a group investor. They interested about commercial/retail. Q: For convenience, are locals more accustom to shops within 2~5min distance or more similar to us in Europe (25~35 driving distance)? Q2: Relatively small, how long does it take to commute from Bedok/Tampines to Bishan at peak traffic, say on Weekends or 6pm? Thanks for assistance

I'm staying in one of the 2 point blocks in Holland Drive designated for SERS. I would like to know if I'm too late to sell my existing flat with the SERS benefits in the open market. If still possible to do so, any indication of the estimated current value of my 20th floor unit?
