I have the intention to buy a unit in Icon (Tanjong Pagar). The unit is 657 sqft and price per sqft is 1,560 S$. Also, it is currently rented for the next 2 yrs at 5.5K per month, which implies a yield of over 6%. The price per sqft is already low compared to the current market, still I don't know if I should wait more to buy in view of property prices falling further. What do you think? Shall I invest now? I went to see the new Sail @ Marina, and loved the open floor plans with the sliding doors, but didn't quite like the location as much. Are there similar, open style floor plans, but perhaps in the Tanjong Pagar / Outram area (or elsewhere for that matter), that aren't ridiculously expensive (around 3-3.5k for about 800sqft)?
