Hi I am looking for 3-room HDB with no COV. I personally have looked around and have seen a couple units and also some units with low low COV (below 5k) but because of work, this process is quite slow. My query is, if the agent closes me, I will need to pay him commission of 1% right? Here are my statistics: Highest price : $300,000 (at valuation) Commission : $3,000? Highest COV: Nil First timer grant: $30,000 AHG: $20,000 to $30,000 (Eligible end May) Loan Amount: ard $260,000 Areas with upgrading paid Areas looking at: 1. Chai Chee 2. Bedok 3. Paya Lebar, Eunos, Kallang, Geylang 4. Beach Road 5. Toa Payoh 6. Serangoon 7. AMK 8. Bishan 9. Hougang 10. Central 11. Whampoa 12. Yishun Another question: I can engage more than 1 agent and only pay commission to the one that has allowed me my choice unit right? Meanwhile, I will do a search myself for any possible units, thanks!

Here's what I gathered 1) Option to Purchase = 1% 2a) In 2 weeks Exercise OPT = 4% 2b) When Exercise OPT Pay Stamp Duty Also 3) Pay agent Fee before Transaction begin 4a) Begin Transaction pay remaining 10% - (1+4)% of deposit [90% Loan] 4b) Pay also all Above evaluation 5) Take about 3 months to complete transaction of the home. For Key Collection. Doubt..? WHY all payment is done WAY before the final completion date?
