I am a 35-year-old single Singaporean, looking to buy a property to live in. Is it still possible to get a private propery (condominium or walk-up), minimum two bedrooms, in the $600-650k range? I would preferably not want to do too much renovation work. I am looking around the following locations: Serangoon (and Serangoon North), Farrer Park/Rangoon road area, Kallang, Potong Pasir, Whampoa/Balestier, Paya Lebar, Kembangan, Bedok Reservoir, Pasir Ris Beach (Elias Road). Thank you.

Hi, my boyfriend and I are interested to buy a 2 bedroom condo/private apartment, with the intention to stay over the next 2 years and to rent out after this 2 yrs. Our budget is $600-700k. We do not want ground floor units. We are open to Central-East region eg Kallang, Clementi, Buona Vista & eastern area, easily assesible public transport and with amenities nearby. We welcome suggestions from Guru on what other potential growth area that we can look at. Which would you advice us eg leasehold vs freehold? Is there any difference?
