This is a response to Keith Lim of Jones Lang LaSalle on Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) posted by Susan. She simply wanted to know if Permanent Residents of the United States are allowed to enjoy the benefit just like all Singaporean citizens. I am a Singaporean citizen and a PR of the United States. I feel that as a "true professional", if you've the time to sit at the forum to answer questions/concerns from the general public, you need not be "too political" and be side-tracked about your reply. I wonder if you have got up from the wrong side of the bed. Your recent response about the euro crisis is another example that is so uncalled for. I am a Norwegian student coming to live and study in Singapore with my long-time girlfriend. We're both going to be studying at Lasalle for three years starting this August, and we are sure to receive a monthly scholarship from the Norwegian government. We need a 25 square metres apartment minimum. We can go as high as S$2200 a month. Does anyone know of anything for us?
