We've been to see a few and they are all looking a bit tired and dated as they have the original kitchen and bathroom. I recently visited a unit in the Sterling at Bukit Timah Road. The area is approx. 1,800 sq ft with 4 nicely laid out room. I think last transacted prices are about S$1,200 psf I also visited Aspen Height along River Valley. Similarly for a 4 bedder, it's smaller in size, about 1,500 sq ft. Prices are approx. S$1400-1500 psf. Question is : which is a better buy? I understand there will be train stations coming up at Liang Court area (which is quite close to Aspen Height). As for the Sterling, MRT won't be up till 2015, given tunnelling works just started a few days ago. I am also considering Bt Timah as a suitable area as I have a child going to Sec school next year.
