Looking for a 3 bed room unit, one year lease, unfurnished unit. Prefers Queens, Domain 21, Mera Prime, The Pearl, Tanglin View, Twin Regency, The Beacon or even Reflections. Other alternatives includes Normanton and Central Green (must be renovated and not in original condition ), Emerald Park. Basically looking at area in Queenstown, Holland, Alexandra and Tiong Bahru area. Budget S$3-5k depending on age and location of unit. I have the intention to buy a unit in Icon (Tanjong Pagar). The unit is 657 sqft and price per sqft is 1,560 S$. Also, it is currently rented for the next 2 yrs at 5.5K per month, which implies a yield of over 6%. The price per sqft is already low compared to the current market, still I don't know if I should wait more to buy in view of property prices falling further. What do you think? Shall I invest now?
