I bought a EC(La Casa) at Woodlands last year and would like to rent out the whole unit. However, I live there for one year plus only. Is it possible to rent out? My friend told me I have to lock one room, why is it so? Wonder how much I can rent in this case.

Hi,
By-law, the 1st EC owner needs to physical occupied the unit for 5yrs( from TOP date) before you can Sell or RENT. That is the disadvantage of buying EC from developer.
If you rent out the whole unit, some tenants may take advantage of you and delay in paying rental. Possible risk you need to take in case something happen.
You can still rent out room by room if you want.
