We are in a process of selling our 5 room flat but decided not to proceed but to rent out instead. The question is, we have signed up the OTP with the buyer and our 1st appointment with HDB is on 1st July '10. Please advise us on the consequences of the cancellation. Thank you.

Hi Siti,
As the option had been exercised, you had entered into a legal binding contract with the buyer.
If you decided to back out, there may be legal consequences that you will have to answer to. Do give it a thorough thought before deciding.
