Hi, my mom currently owns a low-floor end-of-corridor 90sqm 4rm unit in hougang st91. She is thinking of selling it and buying a 5rm unit in Sengkang/Punggol under both our names. The 4rm is already fully paid up, however my mom is currently a housewife and I'm only drawing a take-home pay of about 2.5k after CPF deductions. Will it be feasible to do so ?

Regard to your question, it better you apply the HLE letter and see whether approve or not before selling and buying.

Technically, it can be done. In general, you can either choose to buy a new one first, sell your existing flat first or contra, if conditions allow.
However in lieu with the new HDB implementations, there will be areas which I will have to find out from you before I can advise accordingly.
