whenever u sell ur flat, always get hdb to do some financial calculations for you. if you had taken loan for a period of time, it is common knowledge that ur loan would come with interest. the agent's job is to secure the best possible deal for the sale of ur house based on the market rate and not to ensure that ur sale is positive or negative. i have a seller sold his EA and it was a negative sale but despite that, the transacted price was among the highest in that area. he cannot fault me on the transaction coz i managed to get the highest possible price for him at that point in time.
