HI, me and my friends want to rent hdb with 3 or 4 rooms..
our budget is quite tight:
4 rooms for $2300
We want to find the HDB in tiong bahru,queenstown,commonwealth or outram park (somewhere around)
Do we have to pay the agent fee? and how much it will cost to hire an agent?

The current market practice is for the tenant to pay between 0.5 month to 1 month of monthly rental amount to the agent.

Hi Pamela,
The answer to your question is yes, if you engage an agent, you have to pay them a service fee depending on your lease term and lease fee.
