Hello, it seems that your job requires you to travel,or a number of persons who want to rent the place.Perhaps a unit close to the mrt will be more practical and economical. It will save you a lot of transportation costs and time.
If you are thinking of buying a unit, the east, orchard and city will be a little bit more expensive, than the rest of the area.
Keep in mind your financial commitments and other factors before choosing a unit..

Wow....looks like your job requires you to travel around the island frequently.
If you have your own transport I will surely recommend District 14 or 15. Telok Kurau, Joo Chiat, Siglap etc.
My basis for recommendation is the good location, the community as well as the price. I believe a luxurious unit over there is not as pricey as the projects within the CBD.
Best of all, according to URA Caveats, district 14 & 15 has one of the highest transaction volumes whole year round. Which spells high potential for capital appreciation.
