Open Question
To rent/sell/buy unused storage space (i.e. a garage,a storeroom or warehouse) online, do we need a qualified person that has a real estate brokering licence in the company to conduct such transactions ( as in Singapore and other countries as well)? Secondly, in the context of Singaporean law, what is considered a real estate transaction in general? Thanks

Hi Wei Jie,

I am sorry to inform you that you can't buy properties online. This webpage is solely meant for advertising purposes. So far most real estate agents are properly trained by their brokering firms.

A real estate transaction involves a legally binding contract between various parties such as vendors & purchasers for sales transactions, or between landlord & tenant for rental transactions. There are also other forms of transactions such as assignment & auction. The guidelines & procedures for different type of properties differs.
