Hi Kat,
1) Do a check on how much you are able to loan; either HDB or Bank Loan
2) Do a study of the areas interested and note the average Cash Over Value (COV)
3) If you are a Singaporean and wish to make use of the Housing Grant Schemes, do visit the www.hdb.gov.sg for more info.
4) Know what kind of unit (eg. 3/4rm) you are looking for.
5) Be sure to do an ethnicity check on the unit you with to buy (www.hdb.gov.sg)
6) If you need clarification on the financial plan when it comes to purchasing a flat, do drop me an email.
