I am SPR and have signed an OTP for one unit in amk where the LUP is going on,
My agent is saying that LUP cost should come around 10-12 k as the lift on my unit is the centralised lift(means there was already a lift which use to open on some floors but now ll be opening on every floor)
but HDB guys are saying that the est. price for it should be around 30k for SPR ....
any suggestions pls ...whom to trust ...what should i do ..need valuable inputs..

Afternoon Shanu,
The HDB officer would definitely have a more accurate figure, compared to what your salesperson have gathered for you. However, the OTP have being signed, you are required to proceed with the transaction. If you feel that your salesperson have misrepresented, it would be good to talk to him about this particular issue before bringing it up.

Hi Shanu,
As you have already signed the OTP, you are legally binded to see through the transaction regardless the estimated costs. I'd suggest you to be prepared to pay what the HDB officers have quoted since by preparing so, should the bill be smaller, you'll be definitely ready for it. Did your agent explain the LUP policy to you before making your offer?
