Hi, I'm looking at buying a point block unit at Block 5 Farrer Road. Can you advise me on the potential of the unit there and risk involved? I'm worried whether if I were to sell the unit in later years whether I will make a good profit or big loss. Thks.

Hi Nigel.
Guess you may have did some groundwork check on Farrer Road units itself. Well i can say that Farrer Road HDB blocks are not alot,so definitely supply there is limited. If the demand would easily outstretched the supplies given and when tis happens, prices would be on a more premium side. I did close a blk in farrer itself @ early this year and the COV has definitely seen better days after tat episode so its a good time to invest in 1 now as COV asking has generally softened down.

Additionally they are doing the Farrer MRT Circle Line and that could only enchance its prestige there with Dempsey and Orchard within touching distance.

My 2 cents worth is if the location is good as in Holland Village area and Farrer , the Pros will be more than Cons.!
