Several projects in Singapore have secured provisional permission (PP) from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in the second quarter.

In the central business district (CBD), a Tuan Sing unit obtained PP to develop an office / retail project on Robinson Road. The development comprises 380 sq m of shopping space and 23,530 sq m gross floor area (GFA) of offices.

Also on Robinson Road, Oxley Consortium Pte Ltd received approval to redevelop The Corporate Office into an office / retail project comprising 12,280 sq m of offices and 2,770 sq m of shops.

In addition, a tie-up between CapitaMalls Asia and CapitaLand Residential Singapore clinched PP in April for its project in Bedok, which will comprise a 620-unit condo and a 35,560 sq m mall.

In the residential segment, the 479-unit Boathouse Residences condo development at Upper Serangoon View received the URA’s approval in Q2.

Keppel Land secured PP to develop a 622-unit condo at Sengkang Square, while Far East Organization (FEO) clinched approval for its 724-unit EuHabitat project at Jalan Eunos.

In the industrial sector, CEL Pasir Panjang secured the URA’s approval to develop a flatted factory project on Pasir Panjang Road comprising 12,560 sq m GFA in June.

The URA also approved the development of a 28,080 sq m flatted factory project on Paya Lebar Road by Ascendas Land (Singapore).

Halliburton Far East secured PP to build a single-user factory at Tuas South Avenue 12 / Tuas South Avenue 7.

Additionally, the Housing and Development Board (HDB) secured PP in Q2 to build a 13,780 sq m project, Kaki Bukit Autohub, located at Kaki Bukit Road 2 / Kaki Bukit Avenue 2.
