The IKEA restaurant is also offering a special Sale Combo Meal, which is available throughout the sale. Organic pasta with stuffed salmon is offered with the soup of the day, a bun served with butter and soft drink, coffee / tea or lingonberry juice for only S$9.90. From the regular price of S$6.40, the IKEA Tampines restaurant, which sells Halal food, will be offering the Nasi Padang meal with a drink for only S$5.50 during the sale.
In line with IKEA’s commitment to reduce plastic bag usage, IKEA stores will no longer offer plastic bags for free, so customers are advised to bring reusable shopping bags. Proceeds from the sale of plastic bags, which are priced at S$0.10 and S$0.05, will go to the Little Green Dot Student Research Fund, a joint initiative by the WWF, Nature Society of Singapore and IKEA. For S$1.20, customers can also purchase the reusable IKEA FRAKTA blue shopping bags as a step to conserve the environment and make life better.
