The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has released three residential sites at Bedok South Avenue 3, Boon Lay Way and Jervois Road for sale this month, providing more private housing choices to both developers and home buyers.
The land parcels at Jervois Road and Bedok South Avenue 3 are under the Confirmed List, while the Boon Lay Way site is under the Reserve List of the 2H2011 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.
All three sites can yield around 1,325 units, in addition to the 21,560 units launched for sale under the GLS Programme this year.
Located in the eastern region of Singapore, the 2.8ha land parcel at Bedok South Avenue 3 enjoys close proximity to the Tanah Merah Interchange station. It is also connected to major arterial roads and expressways such as the PIE and ECP.
With an area of about 0.8ha, the site at Jervois Road is within an established residential estate near the city centre. It can yield approximately 140 housing units and is also close to Redhill MRT station.
Meanwhile, the land parcel at Boon Lay Way is situated in Jurong Gateway. Potentially yielding about 590 units, the site has an area of around 1.1ha and enjoys access to all parts of the island through the Jurong East MRT station.
The tenders for the Jervois Road and Bedok South Avenue 3 sites will close on 2 and 9 February 2012 respectively.
