The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has released detailed sales conditions for a hotel site at the junction of Rangoon Road and Farrer Park Station Road.
The land site is available for sale under the reserve list of the H2 2011 government land sales (GLS) programme.
Conveniently located above Farrer Park MRT station, the site provides easy access to the CBD at Raffles Place and Marina Bay. It has a total area of 3,096.1 sq m and a leasehold period of 99 years. The URA said that the site can generate a gross floor area (GFA) of up to 13,004 sq m.
“The hotel site is located at the gateway to the thriving Historic District of Little India which is rich with heritage and home to many traditional shophouses with interesting crafts,” said the URA.
“The future hotel development will also build on the existing cluster of hotels located in the area and strengthen the precinct as an attractive destination for tourists.”
