The first residential project in Brisbane’s transformation of the iconic Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland Showground, The Green comprises 340 units, including one-bedroom-plus-one-bath, two-bedroom-plus-one-bath and two-bedroom-plus-two-bath apartments.
“In line with the redevelopment of Showground Hill, The Green is targeting superior energy efficiency for sustainable inner city living, maximising natural light and ventilation,” said Darien Bradshaw, Executive Director (International Project Marketing, Asia Pacific) at CBRE, which is marketing the project.
At the centre of The Green will sit a lush retreat of raised lawns, vine-draped terraces, abundant subtropical landscaping and two-storey boundary walls.
Showground Hill is a landmark redevelopment in the heart of Brisbane, transforming an iconic area into a vibrant new place to live, work and play. This will encompass a master plan shaped by sustainable urban development and characterised by contemporary design, delivering a mix of commercial, residential and public amenities.
In total, 22 ha of prime regenerated inner city real estate will be home to 3,000 people and a workplace to 12,000.
