The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has launched the tender for a residential site located at Bedok Reservoir Road, making it the first residential site to be sold via the confirmed list under the H12011 GLS Programme.

The 45,622.9 sq m site will have a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 63,873 sq m. It is proposed for a condominium or public housing development and could potentially yield up to 640 housing units, with a leasehold period of 99 years.

Meanwhile, the URA also announced that it has accepted an application from a developer to launch a residential site at the junction of Bartley Road and Lorong How Sun for sale through public tender, after a developer committed to bid not less than S$191.78 million for the site.

It was put up for sale through the reserve list system on 30 November 2009.

The 99-year leasehold site has a total area of 22,094.4 sq m with a maximum permissible GFA of 61,865 sq m and could yield up to 620 housing units.

The URA will launch the public tender for the land parcel in three weeks time.

Did the developer get screwed by MND? Application to URA was probably done before the new cooling measures were announced.
