The two sites, which will be launched for sale under the Confirmed List of the H2 2010 GLS Programme, can potentially yield 805 dwelling units, offering home buyers more housing choices.
With a site area of 20,948 sq m and maximum allowable gross floor area (GFA) of 20,948 sq m, the site at Woodgrove Avenue is proposed for a strata landed or condominium development, with a potential yield of about 265 units.
Meanwhile, the 13,000.3 sq m site at Upper Serangoon View is meant for condominium housing. With a maximum permissible GFA of 45,501.05 sq m, the site can yield about 540 units.
The public tender for both sites will close in early November.
HDB also said that it has placed 18 sites on the Confirmed List and 13 sites on the Reserve List for private residential development under the H2 2010 GLS Programme in order to meet the rising demand for private housing.
These sites can potentially yield a total of 13,905 private residential units, the highest possible supply quantum from any half yearly GLS Programme.
