A 99-year leasehold site at New Upper Changi Road / Bedok North Drive has received a total of nine bids in a public tender that closed yesterday.

The highest bid for the site was $788.9 million, offered by a joint bid from Brilliance Residential Ltd. and Brilliance Trustee Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CapitaLand Ltd.

The second-highest bid came from another joint bid between Moon Holdings Ltd. and UED Capital Venture Ltd., offering $650.9 million for the site, while a joint bid between Sim Lian Land Ltd and Sim Lian Development Ltd emerged as the lowest bidder at $539 million.

The 24,902.2 sq m land parcel could be developed into a mixed commercial and residential development integrated with a bus interchange. It has a maximum gross floor area of 87,157.7 sq m and a gross plot ratio of 3.5.

HDB will announce the final tender results within the next two weeks, after all the bids have been evaluated.

nice tender result ha.. and i observed, all bids submitted came from a joint bid b/w 2 companies
