HDB has launched three residential sites for tender under the Confirmed List of the H2 2010 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

The three sites are located at Hougang Avenue 7, Punggol Drive/Punggol East and Pasir Ris Drive 3/Pasir Ris Drive 4. The sites can potentially yield a total of 1,260 units, out of which 485 are reserved for Executive Condominium (EC) units.

The land parcel at Hougang Avenue 7 is intended for a condominium development with about 395 units. It has a maximum site area of 15,630.4 sq m and a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 43,765.12 sq m.

The Pasir Ris Drive 3/Pasir Ris Drive 4 land site, which will yield around 380 units, has a maximum area of 20,000.1 sq m and a maximum permissible GFA of 42,000.21 sq m.

The land parcel at Punggol Drive/Punggol East, on the other hand, is intended for an EC development with 485 units. It has a maximum site area of 15,700 sq m and a maximum allowable GFA of 53,380 sq m.

All developments for the sites will have a leasehold period of 99 years.

Since May, the government has been ramping up the supply of private housing through the H2 2010 GLS Programme to meet the demand for private housing and land for residential projects.

This includes 18 sites that can yield 8,135 private residential units under the confirmed list and 13 sites that can yield 5,770 private residential units under the reserve list.

Collectively, the GLS Programme can yield 13,905 private residential units, including 2,360 executive condominium units.

The public tender for the Hougang Avenue site will close on September 17, Punggol land parcel on September 23 and Pasir Ris site on September 30.
