To further improve and manage the demand for parking spaces at car parks with the Night Parking Scheme (NPS), both HDB and URA will revise the charges for night parking.

Effective November 1 this year, the $2 night parking charge in HDB and URA carparks will be revised to $4, while the current night parking half-hourly charge remains at $0.50.

The NPS provides overnight parking space for non-resident motorists in HDB and URA car parks. It was imposed in carparks to meet the demand for season parking needs.

Due to the current parking demand in the country, most NPS car parks are heavily utilized, which has resulted in difficulties for residents with Season Parking Ticket (SPT) to find parking space at night.

The revision in night parking charge will not only better manage the parking demand in HDB and URA car parks, but also safeguard the interest of SPT holders as well.

The new $4 night parking coupons will be available for sale starting October 15, and those who are using the $2 night parking coupons can still use it by displaying two $2 coupons.

increase of night parking fee because to protect the season parkers. Then why have the red parking slots for the season parkers in multi storey carpark? The increase makes no sense whereas HDB and URA are increasing the fee for.

r they suppose to increase the parking spaces instead of increase the parking fee? what if the household has more than 2 cars? is it fair for them as they are also residents...
