HDB has launched two new BTO projects, Corporation Tiara in Jurong West and Senja Gateway in Bukit Panjang.
A total of 1,016 flats have been offered for sale, which comprise 254 studio apartment units, 484 four-room flats and 278 five-room flats.
HDB said 95 percent of the public supply of four- and five-room flats will be reserved for first-time homebuyers.
With the recent launch, HDB would have offered 9,844 BTO flats during the first seven months of the year, compared with 9,000 flats offered for the whole of last year.
HDB added that it can offer up to 16,000 flats once demand from first-timers is sustained.
HDB also said that the upcoming developments for the rest of the year will benefit from good geographical spread, covering areas like Sengkang, Punggol, Yishun and Woodlands.
Corporation Tiara is bounded by Yung Kuang Road and Corporation Road. It features 275 premium flats, which comprise 171 four-room units and 104 five-room units. Aside from a Residents’ Committee Centre and a child care centre within the project, residents will also enjoy a variety of facilities in the Taman Jurong estate, like the Taman Jurong Shopping Centre, Taman Jurong Market and Food Centre, as well as recreational facilities including the Taman Jurong Community Club, Jurong Lake Park, Japanese Garden and Chinese Garden.
Senja Gateway, on the other hand, is located at the junction of Woodlands Road and Kranji Expressway. It features 741 standard flats, which comprise 254 studio-type flats, 313 four-room flats and 174 five-room flats. Facilities within the development include shops, an eating house and minimart.
Selling prices for the flats at Corporation Tiara range from $242,000 to $325,000 for a four-room flat and $304,000 to $389,000 for a five-room flat.
At Senja Gateway, prices of studio-type flats range from $67,000 to $95,000, while it’s $242,000 to $306,000 for four-room flats and $308,000 to $398,000 for five-room flats.

@Tobias You won't be impressed if you come to know the price of "public housing" in Singapore....
I'm really impressed by public housing in Singapore. Quality of homes are so much better than in Europe. Many of the new flats look like private homes...good job Singapore!
