Leading business information company marcus evans recently organised the Asian Infrastructure & Property Development Summit 2010 in Macao, China. Held at the Four Seasons Hotel from 5 to 7 July, the event highlighted the current challenges and opportunities in the industry through case studies and keynote presentations delivered by industry leaders.

Also included at the summit were the presentation of products and services to gate keepers and decision makers of Asian development budgets.

Among the keynote speakers at the summit were the Honourable Patrick Conlon, Minister of Transport, Energy & Infrastructure of the Government of South Australia; Maha Sinnathamby, chairman of Springfield Land Corporation; Dr. Glenn Frommer, head of Sustainability Department at Mass Transit Railway Corporation; Jose Rene D Almendras, president of Manila Water; and Y Bhg Datuk Azlan Abdul Karim, chief executive of Putrajaya Holdings.

“This excellent event gives me a true perspective about risk allocation principle and power of bundling among sectors to accelerate infrastructure & property development,” said the head of the risk management division of PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero).

Assistant CEO and head of infrastructure at the Brunei Economic Development Board said: “I particularly enjoyed the structured networking sessions. marcus evans has done well to organise the attendance of high level players in the industry to this meeting.”
