Blocks in Pasir Ris East to be upgraded

A total of 104 blocks in Pasir Ris East will get major upgrades, said Mr. Ahmad Magad, MP for Pasir Ris GRC.

As a result, most of the residents at Pasir Ris East will benefit from the renovation and can expect new amenities in addition to more comfort and convenience in the neighbourhood. Construction is expected to commence early next year.

“We are building up three multi-storey car parks and adding two, three more storeys to these car parks. At the same time we are also adding a few surface car parks to ease the demand for additional car parks,” said Mr. Magad.

As part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Programme (NRP), residents can expect new amenities like covered linkways, fitness corners and a soccer pitch.

The first precinct in Pasir Ris East to undergo upgrading are from Blocks 109 to 129.
