Flat buyers in Hong Kong will only be permitted to acquire one flat and will not be allowed to resell it before the completion date, according to a new policy set by the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong.

The guidelines were issued after a police investigation into the controversial sale of luxury units that fell through months after its developer reportedly claimed that one of the units was sold at a world-record price.

somehow this policy will help to stop the issue about controversial sales. i just hope this move won't affect flat sales in HK.
