HDB to launch BTO flats in Punggol

HDB will launch the country’s first waterfront public flats for sale this month under the Build-To-Order (BTO) scheme.

Situated along Punggol Waterway, the BTO project will feature waterfront living and boast eco-friendly design, blending in cascading waters, existing flora and fauna, and lush greenery.

The new project will also feature large courtyards and openings to promote airflow and natural ventilation to flats and other common areas. Solar panels will also be installed to reduce electrical consumption in the common areas.

The premium BTO flats target individuals willing to pay more for the project’s signature attributes such as prime location, eco-friendly features and groundbreaking design with vantage views, said Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State for National Development.

She added that two other projects under the BTO scheme will also be launched in Sengkang to provide choices to homebuyers with different budgets and preferences.
