The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has announced that a hotel site at Robertson Quay is now available for application.

This will serve as a lead for the government to put the site up for public tender if a developer commits to pay a three percent deposit for the bid price, or bid above the minimum price which is acceptable to the government. In addition, the site can also be launched if the government receives sufficient market interest.

URA released the detailed sales condition for the hotel site. It is located within Robertson Quay, along the Singapore River, and amidst a well-established hotel cluster comprising developments such as Holiday Inn Atrium, River View Hotel, Gallery Hotel, Copthorne King's Hotel and Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.

The 0.45-ha site has a maximum building height of 10 storeys and a maximum gross floor area of 12,636 sq m. It has direct access to the Singapore River promenade, which is seamlessly connected to various entertainment, food and beverage and lifestyle outlets along Mohamed Sultan Road, Robertson Quay, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay.
