New BTO projects launched

HDB has launched around 1,500 units under its two new Build-To-Order (BTO) projects.

Treegrove@Woodlands will offer 784 premium flats, and Punggol Crest in Punggol comprises 750 standard flats.

According to HDB, most of the flats would be reserved for first-time homebuyers.

The Selling prices for the flats in Punggol Crest range from $90,000 for a two-room unit to $301,000 for a four-room flat. In Treegrove@Woodlands, prices range from $64,000 for a studio apartment to $288,000 for a four-room flat.

With Thursday's launch, a total of 2,825 units of new flats would have been offered by HDB under the BTO projects in the first two months of 2010.

HDB said another 1,000 BTO flats will be launched in Sengkang and Sembawang next month.

HDB is planning to offer around 7,000 flats in total, under the BTO project in the first six months of 2010. For the full year, HDB will launch 12,000 new BTO flats; more if there is demand.

The projects will have a good geographical spread over areas like Yishun, Punggol and Jurong West, said HDB.
