The URA has announced that a land parcel at Robertson Quay will be released for sale within two weeks, after a developer committed to offer not less than $1.5 million for the site.
It was made available for sale on April 22 through the Reserve List system. As the minimum price committed by the developer is acceptable to the government, the site will be released for sale via public tender.
Located within Robertson Quay, the land parcel has a total site area of 4,518.1 sq m, which can generate a maximum gross floor area of 12,651 sq m. It is proposed for hotel development with a maximum building height of 10 storeys and a leasehold period of 99 years.
The site is situated along the historic Singapore River, amidst well-established hotels such as Park Hotel Clarke Quay, The Gallery Hotel and Studio M Hotel. It enjoys direct access to the Singapore River promenade, with many well-known food & beverage, entertainment and lifestyle outlets along Robertson Quay, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Mohamed Sultan Road.
