The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has awarded a land parcel at the junction of Punggol Central and Punggol Walk to Sim Lian Land Ltd & Sim Lian Development Ltd. The company offered the highest bid of $363 million in a public tender that closed on December 7.
The land parcel was launched for sale on October 26 under the confirmed list of the government’s 2H2010 GLS programme.
Zoned for condominium development, the 99-year leasehold site has a total area of 27,527.2 sqm and could yield up to 810 housing units. It has a maximum permissible gross floor area of 82,999 sqm, including a 417 sqm conservation building, Matilda House, which will be conserved and restored as part of the new residential development for the site.
