The Hotel Fort Canning has opened in Singapore, featuring a collection of 86 rooms and suites.

The property, which previously served as a base for the British Far East Command during WWII, has been restored by an award-winning Singapore architectural company.

Among the facilities in the hotel include a gym featuring TechnoGym equipment and two swimming pools. Conference facilities are available the 230-seater Lavender Ballroom and 460-seater Legend Ballroom. Both ballrooms can be divided into smaller function rooms for dining and meeting.

In addition, there is an all-day “modern Asian” bistro – Bistro @ The Glass House. The hotel also features in-room dining, a Private Lounge, as well as the Tisettanta Lounge specialising in Italian inspired cocktails.
