BROTHER International Singapore has launched the MFC-6890CDW, an inkjet printer that allows printing, scanning, faxing and copying for businesses with A3-sized requirements. The multi-function device, which can be connected to wireless and Ethernet networks, features a PC fax receiving feature that lets users receive faxes in soft copy even when the PC is turned off. Documents can be scanned directly to an e-mail application, PDF file, text recognition software, memory card or USB flash memory drive. Epson brings cinematic experience to homes
JAPANESE electronics giant Epson's latest flagship projector, the stylish EH-TW5000, is aimed at movie buffs who want to recreate the movie theatre experience at home. Apple updates Final Cut Studio
APPLE has announced a major update to its professional audio and video production application suite Final Cut Studio, which features more than 100 new features. At $1,588, the new Final Cut Studio costs $800 less than the previous release. It is also available as an upgrade for $478. Also new is Final Cut Server 1.5, the asset management and automation tool for Final Cut Studio. It is priced at $1,588 and $478 for upgraders. Sony Ericsson's photo-friendly phone SONY Ericsson has launched the C903 Cyber-shot (above), a five-megapixel camera phone with a bag of photo-friendly features, including face and smile detection, place-name tagging and one-click photo-sharing on Facebook. It even lets you view images on a big screen with a TV-out interface. Other features include High Speed Packet Access (HSPA), Bluetooth, assisted Global Positioning System (aGPS), Memory Stick Micro (M2) flash memory card support, FM radio and a 2.4-inch display. It will be available in black, white and red from the end of this month at $698 without contract.
