Discover the latest vertical trends in wall gardens and renovation materials in June's issue of Home & Decor, which hits newsstands today.

Then find out who you can get to replicate those trends in the magazine's Designer Showcase booklet, which comes bundled free with the 216-page bumper issue.

The 88-page booklet, revamped for a sleek new look with a reflective silver cover, highlights how some of Singapore's best interior designers have treated projects ranging from a three-room HDB flat in Serangoon to a 40-year-old semi-detached house in the Thomson area.

In all, it features 19 interior design firms and 31 projects.

Some of the companies are familiar names such as Collective Design and White Space Living, but there are also newcomers like Space Sense and Nota Design.

While the recession might be bad news for businesses, find out how this will benefit the new home owner who can find bargains to fit out his brand new nest.

The booklet has been published and bundled free with Home & Decor since 2003 and aims to provide house-proud readers with easily accessible portfolios of prominent local designers.

Home & Decor editor Sophie Kho explains: 'From the start, we felt that the booklet should not just showcase glossy projects, but introduce the design pros behind them and explain their vision and signature style.'

The magazine, which has been around for more than 20 years, is published by SPH magazines and read by 83,000 islandwide.

It is available, priced at $5, at all major bookstores.
