According to Mrs. Angelina Tsien, a resident in Choa Chu Kang, she has applied many times to secure a parking space at her residential carpark, and she became frustrated because she can not book a slot until now. In spite of her early application at the branch office of the House and Development Board, her request was still not granted. Every time Mrs. Tsien submits her request, the officers would always tell her that the carpark is very famous and will be difficult to book.Since the very start, Mrs. Tsien wonders why parking spaces are not designed to cater the needs of residents. She also wonders if the parking lots are always full because the slots are given to tenants, and owners are neglected of their privilege to have one. Additionally, Mrs. Tsien doubts that maybe some owners are given two or more parking spaces. Complaining about the matter, she insists that being an owner, she is entitled to have a slot in her carpark.
