Hear hear. I fully agree with Mr Liew. Show box units are just capitalism at its ugliest. Rampant profiteering without any social conscience. Govt should have curbed it earlier without letting explode in this manner.

The cost of housing is causing many families to share homes. Therefore for a single or couple to have a shoebox is preferable to sharing rooms with numerous others.

I feel sorry for those who bought 99 years lease property. They will definitely regret it.They just follow the crowd and don't want to lose our to other. Pray that the 99 years lease property don't drop even during the economic downturn.

Inhumane? What HDB housing 2 families in a 3room rental unit and having two aged share a studio apartment in order to get rent unit..? Is this by choice or need?
