Jonathan Swain started his career as a surveyor in 1984 after obtaining a degree in Quantity Surveying. He has since lived and worked in the UK, France, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. For the last 7 years he has specialised as a residential property analyst and writer, contributing his thoughts to various publications. He worked as the editor of Property Focus magazine in Singapore, before moving to Barcelona. When he isn't researching and writing about property, he likes to spend time with his wife and 3 young children.
